Why noy try so home made treats, they are great if your dog has intolerances as you know exactly what’s in them!!

🐾 Liver Cake Treats

Made with liver, perfect for training rewards.

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup liver 9of your choice) this should be whizzed or chopped very small

  • 1 large egg

  • water if too mixture is too stiff

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F).

  2. In a bowl, add liver, flour and egg mix until you get a thick, smooth batter. Add water slowly to reach a pourable consistency.

  3. Pour into a lined or greased baking tray (a shallow tray works best).

  4. Bake for 20–25 minutes, until firm and lightly browned on top.

  5. Let cool, then cut into small squares or strips.

  6. Store in the fridge for up to 5 days or freeze for longer.

  7. This can also be made into cup cakes or larger cakes for birthdays (you may need to adjust cooking time)

🐟 Tuna Cake Treats

A smelly, irresistible treat that’s great for picky eaters.

Ingredients:

  • 1 tin of tuna in spring water.

  • 2 cups of flour of your choice-I like oat flour but you can use a mix of whatever suits your dog

  • 1 large egg

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F).

  2. Mix the tuna flour and egg in a bowl until the mix is smooth and slightly thick.

  3. Pour into a greased or lined baking tray.

  4. Bake for 20–25 minutes, or until set and golden.

  5. Cool completely before cutting into bite-size training pieces.

  6. Keep refrigerated or freeze portions for later use.

🍠 Vegan Sweet Potato & Apple Biscuits

No animal products, just wholesome goodness.

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup cooked and mashed sweet potato you could also use pumpkin.

  • 1 cooked or grated apple,

  • 1½ cups flour of your choice (or oat flour for a gluten-free version)

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F).

  2. Mix mashed sweet potato and apple in a bowl.

  3. Add flour gradually until a soft dough forms. If it’s too sticky, add more flour.

  4. Roll out the dough to about ½ inch thick and cut into shapes using a cookie cutter.

  5. Place on a lined baking sheet and bake for 25–30 minutes, or until firm and golden.

  6. Let cool completely before serving. Store in an airtight container.
