Dog-Friendly Places to Eat Around Sidcup & Beyond 🐾
Being able to head out for food or a coffee without leaving your dog behind makes life that bit easier and a lot more enjoyable. Thankfully, there are some lovely spots locally where dogs are genuinely welcomed, not just tolerated.
A favourite has to be The Banana Garden Café. (The Oval Sidcup) It’s a relaxed, dog-friendly café with both indoor and outdoor seating, and they often have treats available for visiting dogs. It’s a great place to stop for a coffee or lunch, where your dog can settle comfortably by your side.
Just along The Oval, you’ll also find Noon Coffee Shop, another welcoming spot offering great coffee, freshly baked yummies, dog treats and a cosy environment for a chilled coffee break, with a trendy vibe.
If you’re looking for somewhere a bit different in the evening, The Hangar is a nice option for drinks, with a relaxed atmosphere where dogs are welcome to join you.
For a slightly more tucked-away feel, The Walnuts Café (Royal Parade Chislehurst) offers a small, dog-friendly indoor space and plenty of outdoor seating. It’s a great choice for breakfast, brunch, or lunch. The food is really good.
A perfect pairing of walk and food can be found at Penelope’s Restaurant & Farm Shop. After a walk around Foots Cray Meadows, you can enjoy their outdoor seating and extensive menu, making it a lovely end to a day out.
And if you fancy heading to Bexley Village, Boulangerie Jade is well worth a visit, offering indoor seating alongside a fantastic bakery selection, coffee, and breakfast menu.
As always, it’s important to think about your dog as an individual. Some love these environments, others may find them overwhelming. Choosing quieter times, bringing something familiar, and making sure your dog feels comfortable will help make the experience enjoyable for everyone.
