Scentwork 1-1 & Classes

Scentwork isn't just for working dogs or competition dogs. Every dog has a nose.

I offer 1-1 scentwork sessions in your own home or garden, making them particularly suitable for dogs who may find a traditional class environment difficult.

Scentwork can provide:

  • Mental enrichment

  • An appropriate outlet for natural behaviour

  • Confidence building

  • Independent problem solving

  • A shared activity for you and your dog

  • An alternative activity for dogs who need space

  • A wonderfully enjoyable way to work together

You don't need any previous experience. We can start right at the beginning and progress at your dog's individual pace.

A little about me

I'm Sarah Wynn, a reward-based dog trainer, behaviour professional and scentwork instructor.

I am registered with the Animal Behaviour and Training Council (ABTC) as both an Animal Training Instructor (ATI) and Animal Behaviour Technician (ABT), and my work centres on ethical, evidence-informed training that puts canine welfare first.

I particularly enjoy supporting dogs who may need a little more understanding, space or confidence, and helping their caregivers understand what their dog's behaviour is communicating.

There are no quick fixes or promises of a "perfect" dog.

Instead, we'll work on real-life training to help you and your dog understand one another better and make everyday life easier and more enjoyable.
